This *24-hour Roadside Assistance Service aims to give you and your family peace of mind on and off the road, knowing that should you experience any car-related issues weāll send the AAās recovery team to assist you, anywhere in South Africa (*terms and conditions apply). Only One of the benefits may be used once throughout the duration of your 1-year membership, thereafter the club card expires, so make it count.

Towing
Club members get ONE TOW per year.
The first 40 kilometers are paid for in full by the e-CAR Club.
Please be aware that each breakdown tow is limited to a 40KM round trip from where the AA support vehicle started to the scene of the breakdown and back. T&C applies.
Weāll arrange to have your battery jump-started.
If you are an e-CAR club member one of your membership perks is that if your battery has run flat the AA roadside assist will tow you to the nearest e-CAR workshop where you can get a new battery fitted.
Weāll pay for the call-out and 1-hour labour. If you need to be towed, we will pay for the first 40kms towards the cost of the tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your own cost.
Donāt let a flat tyre ruin your day. Get Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance changing a tyre is a daunting experience especially when youāre driving alone. Donāt stress though, if you experience a flat and need assistance weāll arrange and pay for our guys to fit your spare wheel. If you have special wheel lock nuts let us know so we can bring the correct tools to do the job and if you have no spare wheel or thereās a bigger problem, weāll tow your car through to the nearest e-CAR workshop where theyāll be able to sort it out for you.
Weāll pay for the call-out and 1 hourās labour to have your spare wheel fitted. Should you need to have your tyre repaired, replaced or balanced etc the extras will be at your own cost. If you need to be towed, we will pay for the first 40kms towards the cost of your tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your own cost.
Running on fumes?
Roadside Assistance when running out of fuel. Whether youāre a student or a businessperson itās just one of those things that motorists share in common at least once in their lives. If you get stuck donāt worry, because weāll arrange for 10 litres of fuel to be brought to you, just enough to get you to the nearest petrol station to fill up properly. Just make sure you let us know what type of fuel you use because we will not take responsibility for the incorrect fuel being put into your carās tank.
We will pay for the call out within a 40 kilometre radius. Provision of 10 litres of fuel for the customerās account.
Has your car broken down and not sure what to do?
Call us! Itās that simple. Weāll organise to have your car towed to the nearest e-CAR workshop should you have an electrical or mechanical problem with your car.
If you need to be towed, we will pay for the first 40kms towards the cost of your tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your own cost.
Locked your keys inside the car?
Donāt stress, weāll arrange and pay for a locksmith to unlock your car and retrieve your keys. If our guy canāt retrieve them, weāll arrange for your car to be towed.
Weāll only pay for the call-out. All opening or repairs, parts, components, keys, or key-cutting costs are yours to cover. Should our locksmith be unable to sort out the problem where it occurred (home, work, etc.) and your car needs to be towed, we will pay for the first 40kms towards the cost of your tow. Any extra kilometers driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your cost.
Need to store your car safely overnight?
You can never predict when your car will decide itās had enough and breaks down. We can come to the rescue day or night and have your car put into safe storage (Ts and Cs apply) and transported to an e-CAR workshop the next working day. This second tow will be at your own cost.
If you choose not to use the overnight storage benefit and wish to be towed home, the tow back to an e-CAR workshop the next working morning will count as a second tow. This second tow will be at your own cost.
If you need to be towed, we will pay for the first 40kms towards the cost of your tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your own cost.
Weāll collect and tow your car home after a repair
So you havenāt been able to organise a lift to collect your car and have no means of getting to our workshop? No worries! This is where we step in and offer you our ācollect and towā benefit.
Weāll arrange for your car to be collected from our workshop and towed back to your home, but you will have to pay for this service upfront. After delivery, you can claim back a determined fee for the tow. Make sure you keep the tow slip as proof that you used this service otherwise we wonāt be able to refund you.
