What is a Major ServiceÂ
At e-CAR, we offer the full range of Major Car Services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tune-ups, engine diagnostics, filter changes, tyre rotations, and much more. Our team of highly trained technicians will provide you with quality automotive care.
Service List:
- New in-line plastic fuel filter (Excluding High-Pressure fuel filter)
- New spark plugs (non-platinum), points, and condensers
- New oil filter
- New air filter
- New engine oil
- Electrical check and report on any faults
- Adjustment of the hand brake
- Testing of brakes
- Battery check
- Car wash and vacuum (excludes engine cleaning)
- Labour for all the above
- A report on defects found and the customer informed of additional repair work required for their vehicle
- No additional work is undertaken without the customer’s prior consent

Depending on what vehicle you have and whether it is petrol or diesel we then determine if it is due for a major car service. Included in a major service are all filters, spark plugs, and oil replaced. Furthermore, your vehicle will undergo a 28-point safety check and diagnostic test (if so required at an additional cost). If your vehicle needs additional work, we will contact you to discuss the way forward.
