The 10% discount applies exclusively to the major or minor car service itself. It does not cover any additional repairs, parts, or labour outside of the standard service schedule.

2. Promotion Validity:
This Promotion is valid for bookings made in the month of August and services completed by no later than 30 September 2025.

3. How to Claim Your Discount:
To qualify for your 10% discount, you must mention the Promo code “eCARWomen” when you book your major or minor service.

5. R1000 Bonus Prize Draw Details:
a. Five lucky Facebook “Top Engagers” will each win R1000. The winners will be chosen from all eligible entries.
b. Our selection will be based on a holistic approach that celebrates participants who demonstrate:

7. Eligibility and Exclusions:
a. Age Restriction: Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
b. Names on official documents provided must match.
c. Geographic Restriction: Open only to legal residents of South Africa and Lesotho.
d. Excluded Persons: Directors, employees, partners, agents, and immediate family members of e-CAR, its affiliated companies, suppliers, or advertising agencies are not eligible to participate.

8. General Prize Terms:
a. Non-transferable/Non-Exchangeable: Prizes are not transferable, negotiable, or exchangeable for any other item.
b. Winners will be contacted directly via Facebook Messenger. If no response is received within the deadline given, and if a visible email address or phone number has been provided publicly, we will attempt to reach out through those channels as well. If there is still no response, the prize will be forfeited and another winner may be selected. Please also check your “Messages/Notifications” to avoid missing our message.
c. Winner Verification: Winners will be required to provide proof of identity and a Bank confirmation letter.
d. To ensure your prize can be awarded, we must receive this documentation by the deadline given to you.
e. We reserve the right to select an alternate winner if the required documents are not provided.
f. Publicity Consent: By entering and accepting a prize, winners agree to their name and likeness being used for marketing and publicity purposes by e-CAR, without further compensation.

9. Limitation of Liability:
a. No Responsibility for Technical Issues: e-CAR and its affiliates are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, online systems, servers, computer hardware or software failure or malfunction, or traffic congestion (whether physical or on the Internet) that may prevent bookings/entries from being received.
b. Participation at Own Risk: Participation in this Promotion, and acceptance and/or use of any prize, is at the participant’s own risk. e-CAR will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense of any nature whatsoever, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by your participation in the Promotion or acceptance and/or use of a prize.

10. Data Protection (POPIA Compliance):
a. Use of Personal Information: By participating in this Promotion, participants consent to the processing of their personal data (such as name, contact details, and social media handle) by e-CAR for the purpose of administering this Promotion, including contacting winners and fulfilling prizes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and e-CAR’s Privacy Policy.
b. No Sharing with Third Parties: Data won’t be shared with external parties.

11. Right to Amend/Cancel:
Modification of Terms: e-CAR reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, or to cancel or suspend the Promotion, at any time without prior notice, should unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its reasonable control make it necessary.

12. Governing Law:
South African Law: This Promotion and its terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

13. Judges’ Decision is Final:
The judges’ decision regarding all aspects of this Promotion, including the selection of winners, is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
