How long do wiper blades last?
Wiper blades should be replaced every one to two years or as soon as you notice a difference in driving visibility. When wiper blades no longer make proper contact with the windshield surface, they can begin to, skip, squeak, smear or streak reducing driving visibility. Most importantly park your vehicle in the shade when at work or at home, to prevent the wiper blade from deteriorating quickly, as the sun will make the blade hard.
Clean your windscreen before using your windscreen wipers as dust and dirt can damage the blades if not used very often.
Wipe the wiper blade with a damp cloth when cleaning your vehicle. Use dishwashing liquid which is not as abrasive as Handy Andy.
