I recently took my daughter’s Hyundai I 10 Grande to the Hyundai dealership as the car was still under warranty. After diagnosing the fault, I was advised that the car required a new bonnet switch.
After using the car for a few days and parking it for the weekend, I found the car presented the same problem; the battery was drained of power and the car would not start.
I then proceeded to B & R Auto in Jacobs who did a check and advised me to leave the vehicle with them for a few days to conduct a more comprehensive test. Voltage tests were done on a daily basis to ascertain exactly what loss was incurred on each day.
I was advised that the radio was drawing this power and draining the battery. It was disconnected and the car was given to me to test. I was not asked to pay for any service as B & R Auto wanted me to be happy with the service before I pay for the service. I tested the vehicle and have found that the battery does not lose power anymore. I am writing this commendation of excellent service
