Club members get ONE TOW per year, so make it count. The first 40 kilometres are paid for in full by e-CAR Club. Every km over this limit will be charged at AA rates and will be at your own cost.

Battery trouble?

We’ll arrange and pay to have your battery jump started. Should your battery die a second time on the same day, we'll happily jump-start it again. If you need a replacement battery and haven't been able to get to a workshop because of battery failure, we'll tow your car to the nearest e-CAR workshop.

We'll pay for the call out and 1 hour labour. Should you need to be towed, we'll pay a maximum of R730, limited to 40kms towards the cost of the tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your own cost.

Don't let a flat tyre ruin your day

Changing a tyre is a daunting experience especially when you’re driving alone. Don’t stress though, if you experience a flat and need assistance we’ll arrange and pay for our guys to fit your spare wheel. If you have special wheel lock nuts let us know so we can bring the correct tools to do the job and if you have no spare wheel or there’s a bigger problem, we’ll tow your car through to the nearest e-CAR workshop where they’ll be able to sort it out for you.

WHO GETS THE BILL?
We'll pay for the call out and 1 hour labour to have your spare wheel fitted. Should you need to have your tyre repaired, replaced or balanced etc. the extras will be at your own cost. If you need to be towed we'll pay a maximum of R730, limited to 40kms towards the cost of your tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be at your own cost.

Running on fumes?

Running out of fuel happens to the best of us. Whether you’re a student or a businessperson it’s just one of those things that motorists share in common at least once in their lives. If you get stuck don’t worry, because we’ll arrange and pay for 10 litres of fuel to be brought to you, just enough to get you to the nearest petrol station to fill up properly. Just make sure you let us know what type of fuel you use because we will not take responsibility for the incorrect fuel being put into your cars tank.

WHO GETS THE BILL?
We'll pay for the call out and 10 litres of fuel.

Been in a car accident?

Driving in South Africa can be rather treacherous and often accidents are unavoidable. If you ever find yourself in a car accident we’ll arrange and pay to have your car towed to our nearest e-CAR workshop if it is unable to be driven and you’re not covered for a tow cost under a short-term insurance policy. If you do have insurance cover, let us know and we’ll transfer you through to your insurer or broker for assistance.

Need to store your car safely overnight?

You can never predict when your car will decide it’s had enough and breaks down. You can rest assured though that we’ll come to the rescue day or night! So if you do breakdown at night, when our e-CAR workshops are closed, we’ll pay a maximum of R500 to have your car put into safe storage and transported to an e-CAR workshop the next morning.

Please Note:
If you choose not to use the overnight storage benefit and wish to be towed home, the tow back to an e-CAR workshop the next morning will count as a second tow. This second tow will be at your own cost.

We'll pay a maximum of R730, limited to 40kms towards the cost of your tow. Any extra kilometres driven over and above the 40km limit will be for your cost. We’ll also pay a maximum of R500 towards your overnight storage bill. Any extra days spent in storage will be for your cost.

Car broken down and have a meeting to be at?

WHO GETS THE BILL?
You’ll have to pay for the taxi ride but we’ll refund you a maximum of R250 towards the bill. Just make sure you keep the slip as proof that you used this service otherwise we won’t be able to refund you.

We'll collect and tow your car home after a repair.

So you haven’t been able to organise a lift to collect your car and have no means of getting to our workshop? No worries! This is where we step in and offer you our ‘collect and tow’ benefit.

WHO GETS THE BILL?
We’ll arrange for your car to be collected from our workshop and towed back to your home, but you will have to pay for this service upfront. After delivery, you can claim back a maximum of R500 from us for the tow. Make sure you keep the tow slip as proof that you used this service otherwise we won’t be able to refund you.
